Current Tariff Options

As most of my readers know, I was recently in the market for a new handset and tariff to go with it. Now, I expected to see lots of handsets on offer, from all of the various manufacturers, that has always been the case, but what surprised me was the amount of tariffs available when you go into a Vodafone or O2 store etc. I mean, there were always a few tariffs to choose from and a whole host of mobile phones, but these days it appears to have gotten crazy.
I was in the Vodafone store and had to review over 15 different tariff options, all offering various inclusive packages such as minutes and texts but also, some of the offers were bolted on with free gifts and mobile broadband. I even saw some tariffs that offered some discount off a holiday? It’s certainly changed a lot since the last time I took on a mobile contract. I actually felt quite old. Anyway, for those interested, I decided to pick up the new Nokia and got myself the cheapest tariff possible. I don’t need inclusive minutes or texts, hopefully people will call me and not the other way around!
